Building Control (UK) Ltd are a qualified, experienced and highly motivated private sector Building Control Body providing a client-friendly alternative to that provided by the Local Authority, that is both proactive and cost effective. We pride ourselves on our ability to guide our clients, agents and contractors through the complex process of acquiring Building Regulations Approval, at both plan stage and throughout the build programme. We aim to provide helpful guidance and assistance to enable them to achieve successful completion of the legal and statutory requirements. We don’t create problems we aim to solve them. Our staff comprise of experienced professionals with many years of Building Control experience in both the private and public sector.

Operating from our Head Office in Hessle, East Yorkshire, with easy access to the motorway network, we mainly operate in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire areas but are licensed, willing and able to provide our services throughout England and Wales.

As Corporate Approved Inspectors we have satisfied the stringent application requirements laid down by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) to enable us to provide this service. We are, therefore, authorised to carry out the Building Control function for any size of development, from small domestic projects to multi million pound commercial and industrial developments.

We are professional and articulate and offer specialist advice to developers, designers and contractors to help guide them through the complex maze of the Building Regulations. We are able to provide a full building control service because we acknowledge that the Building Regulations are an essential and integral part of the sustainable future of not only the built environment, but our planet.
